Leiden University commissioned me for Keti Koti 2023 to create three illustrations in the form of a seamless carousel post. The slides had to contain the themes (in order) of the fight and 1873, the journey and the oppression, and remembrance and celebration with images that resound with descendants of enslaved Africans.
